tions are distant about fifteen miles from Wairoa, and
about two miles and a half from Mohaka.
Title: Land Transfer.
ABSTRACT OF CONDITIONS OF SALE.
-
The land is sold by the Board under the provisions
of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909. -
Subject to the upset price the highest bidder to be
declared the purchaser. Any lot in dispute to be put up
again. -
Deposit of £10 per cent. to be paid on the fall of
hammer. -
Balance of purchase-money, together with £4 4s. and
stamp duty and registration fees, to be paid within sixty
days. In case of non-completion within the sixty days,
6 per cent. interest to be paid. Rates and taxes to be
adjusted. -
Purchaser to make statutory declaration that he is
legally qualified to acquire the land, and upon payment of
balance to be entitled to transfer. -
Vendor not to contribute to any dividing-fences.

Title being Land Transfer, no objection to title to be
raised. -
Lots to be taken as correctly described. No com-
pensation for misstatements. -
In case of default, deposit may be forfeited, lots
resold, and defaulter charged with deficiency. -
Time to be of essence of contract.
The lands are described for the general information
of intending purchasers, who are recommended, neverthe-
less, to make a personal inspection, as the Board is not
responsible for the absolute accuracy of any description.

office of the Tairawhiti District Maori Land Board, Gis-
borne, or to the Auctioneers, the New Zealand Loan and

Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION NO. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto
Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting
of the owners of Kakepuku 9b No. 5, Section 2, will be
held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land
Act, 1909, at Kihikihi, on Wednesday, the 31st day of
January, 1912, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the pur-
pose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“‘That the land be leased to Jessie Maud Matthews for
forty-two years at an annual rental of 3s. 6d. per acre
during the first twenty-one years, and 7s. per acre during
the remainder of the term.’’

Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting
of the owners of Pokuru No. 2A No. 2 will be held, in
pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909,
at Thames, on Friday, the 31st day of January, 1912, at
5 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering
the following proposed resolution:—
“‘That the land be leased to William Goodison for forty-
two years at an annual rental of 2s. per acre during the
first twenty-one years, and 4s. per acre during the re-
mainder of the term. Compensation up to £2 per acre.’’

at Kawhia, on Friday, the 2nd day of February, 1912, at
5 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering
the following proposed resolution:—
“‘That the land be leased to William Goodison for forty-
two years at an annual rental of 2s. per acre during the
first twenty-one years, and 4s. per acre during the re-
mainder of the term. Compensation up to £2 per acre.’’

ary, 1912, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of
considering the following proposed resolution:—
“‘That the land be leased to Edgar Jennings for a term
of fifty years at an annual rental of 1s. 6d. per acre during
the first twenty-five years, and 2s. 6d. per acre during the
remainder of the term. Compensation up to £1 10s.’’

held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act,
1909, at Te Kuiti, on Tuesday, the 30th day of January,
1912, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of
considering the following proposed resolution:—
“‘That the land be leased to Olliver N. Gillespie for
the term of fifty years at an annual rental of 1s. per
acre during the first twenty-five years, and 2s. per acre
during the remaining twenty-five years. Compensation up
to £1 10s. per acre.’’
