And whereas, after inquiry and report by a Commission as directed by the said section, a poll was taken on the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, on the proposal that the area described in the Schedule hereto, being part of the said town district, should be included in the said borough, and the result of that poll was in favour of the said proposal :
And whereas it is expedient that the area described in the said Schedule hereto should be included in the said Borough of New Plymouth :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, as amended by the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, and the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that, as on and from the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be included in the said Borough of New Plymouth.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, situated in Paritutu Survey District, bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 159 (Te Puia Native Reserve), from the southern boundary-line of Section No. 17 to the Waiwakaiho Stream; thence towards the east generally by the Waiwakaiho Stream to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 88 in Block V, Paritutu Survey District; thence towards the south-east by the south-eastern boundary of Fitzroy District, being the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 88, 87, and Native Reserve No. 22, from the Waiwakaiho Stream to the Te Henui Stream; thence towards the west generally by the Te Henui Stream to the Borough of New Plymouth; thence by the Borough of New Plymouth, and again by the Te Henui Stream to the sea; and thence towards the north-west by the sea to the westernmost corner of Section No. 97 (harbour reserve); thence by the said Section No. 97 to its easternmost corner; thence across a public road, and by Section No. 17 (Pukeweka Native Reserve), to Section No. 159 aforesaid, the place of commencement.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of October, 1911.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES CARROLL, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by section sixteen of the Counties Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), the Geraldine County Council and the Mackenzie County Council respectively did, by an instrument bearing date the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, formally agree that the boundaries of the said counties should be altered to the extent set forth in the said instrument and also in the Schedule hereto: And whereas it is expedient that such alteration of boundaries be approved by the Governor in Council, and that such altered boundaries be defined in terms of the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and authority conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that, on and after the publication of these presents in the New Zealand Gazette, the boundaries of the Counties of Geraldine and Mackenzie respectively shall be those set forth under their respective headings in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
GERALDINE COUNTY.
BOUNDED towards the north-west by a line along the middle of Forest Creek from the westernmost corner of Run No. 2, in Block X, Fox Survey District, to the Rangitata River; thence towards the north-east by a line along the middle of the Rangitata River to the sea; thence towards the south-east by the sea to the mouth of the Opihi River; thence towards the south-west by Levels County, as described in the Schedule to the Levels County Act, 1894, to the confluence of the Opihi and Opuha Rivers; and thence towards the west generally by the Opuha Road District, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 85, of the 22nd September, 1910, to the place of commencement: excepting the Boroughs of Geraldine and Temuka.
MACKENZIE COUNTY.
Bounded towards the north-west by a line along the summit of the Southern Alps from the north-western corner of Waitaki County, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 111, of the 30th December, 1882, to the westernmost corner of Ashburton County, as described in the First Schedule to the Counties Act, 1876; thence towards the east generally by the said Ashburton County to the westernmost corner of Run No. 2, in Block X, Fox Survey District; thence by Geraldine County hereinbefore described to Levels County, as described in the Schedule to the Levels County Act, 1894; thence by the said Levels County to the Pareora River; thence towards the south generally by Waimate County, as described in the First Schedule to the Counties Act, 1876, to the middle of the Waitaki River; and thence towards the west generally by the Waitaki County aforesaid to the place of commencement.

Vaccination District constituted.

ISLINGTON, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor by the Public Health Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing vaccination district known as the Grey District, and do declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said district is hereby divided anew into two vaccination districts, the names whereof shall be the Runanga District and the Grey District, and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the registration districts bearing the same names, as are set forth in a Proclamation bearing date the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, made under the provisions of the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1908, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 77, of the twenty-eighth day of September, page 2901.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Mining Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the Gazette, the public reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall be available for mining at a depth below 50 ft. from the surface.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 12 acres and 20 perches, more or less, being Section No. 2, Block XVI, Ohinemuri Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Kenny Street, 102·5 and 698·5 links; towards the north-east by Section 269, Town of Waihi, by a block of land reserved for the Union-Waihi Company’s workings, and by Waihi Gold-mining Company Special Site No. 2, 1536·4 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 800 links; and towards the south-west by Clarke Street, 1500 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1319/34, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
