Special Order made by the Mauku Road Board, County of Manukau.

THE following special order, made by the Mauku Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

MAUKU ROAD BOARD (WAIAU WARD).

Special Order.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Mauku Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Mauku Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for improving, forming, and metalling certain roads in the Waiau Ward, the said Mauku Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waiau Ward of the Mauku Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above special order was duly passed in accordance with the Road Boards Act, 1908.
