ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of January, 1911.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby incorporate the members of the Ohura Agricultural, Pastoral, Horticultural, and Industrial Association, and such persons as shall hereafter be admitted members of the said association agreeably to the rules of the said association and the provisions of the said Act, into a body corporate under the style and title of “The Ohura Agricultural, Pastoral, Horticultural, and Industrial Association.”

Appointment of Okarito Domain Board revoked.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of January, 1911.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nine, a Domain Board was appointed to have control of the Okarito Domain therein described:

And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Order in Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council of the twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Directing the Sale of Land under the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of January, 1911.

Present:

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the thirtieth section of the Public Works Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:

And whereas a memorial has been laid before the Governor by the Blenheim Borough Council (hereinafter called “the said Council”), accompanied by a map, setting forth that certain land was taken for the purpose of the improvement of insanitary portions of the Borough of Blenheim:

And whereas the said land as described in the Schedule hereto is not now required by the said Council for the purposes aforesaid, and the said Council desires to sell the same:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting a Reserve in the Leamington Town Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of January, 1911.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for a municipal endowment: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Leamington Town Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Leamington Town Board, in trust, for a municipal endowment.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres, more or less, being Section No. 570, Town of Cambridge West. Bounded towards the north-east by Thompson Street, towards the south-east by Tennyson Street, towards the south-west by Browning Street, and towards the north-west by Scott Street; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5216/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be
