Notice to the Public Trustee.
THE INDUSTRIAL SCHOOLS ACT, 1908.

Wellington, 17th October, 1911.
WHEREAS THOMAS EDWARD FREEMAN is at present
an inmate of the Burnham Industrial School, a
school established under the Industrial Schools Act, 1908 :
And whereas such inmate is entitled to certain property :
And whereas it appears expedient to issue the directions
hereinafter set forth :
Now, therefore, I, Thomas Mackenzie, Acting Minister
of Education, in exercise of the powers conferred by sec-
tion 38 of the Industrial Schools Act, 1908, do hereby
direct the Public Trustee to take possession of all such
property and apply the same for the benefit of such in-
mate, in accordance with the provisions of the last-men-
tioned Act.

Board of Trade, London, has appointed
Mr. W. G. WICKHAM
to be His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner in New Zealand,
vice Mr. G. H. F. Rolleston, deceased. Mr. Wickham
should reach the Dominion towards the end of the year.

Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust
Office Act, 1908 (Part III).
In the estate of PETER SMITH, of Manakau, in the
Provincial District of Wellington, Storekeeper.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to an
order of His Honour Mr. Justice Edwards, made
at Wellington on the 4th October, 1911, the Public Trustee
has taken possession of the property of PETER SMITH, of
Manakau, Storekeeper, and proposes to exercise in con-
nection therewith the powers contained in Part III of the
Public Trust Office Act, 1908.

Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office
Act, 1908 (Part II).
To the owner or owners of a parcel of land containing
by admeasurement 1 rood 25 perches, more or less,
being Section 7, Block VIII, Town of Kawhia, in the
Provincial District of Auckland. The last registered
owner of the said land is Thomas Pratt Redding, of
Auckland, contractor, who cannot now be traced.
WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries,
and has not thereby ascertained who the owner or
owners of the above-described land is or are, and believes
that such owner is, or owners are, not in the Dominion :
Now, this notice calls upon such owner or owners, within
six months of the date of the publication of this notice in
this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public
Trustee his or their title to the land specified in this notice ;
and, if such owner does or owners do not, within the time
limited, so establish his or their title, the Public Trustee
will exercise the powers and authorities granted to him in
and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II).
