Notification of Settlement of Claims for Compensation under the Mining Act, 1908.
Mines Department,
Wellington, 27th September, 1911.
IN pursuance of the provisions of section 293 of the Mining Act, 1908, it is hereby notified that the claims for compensation enumerated in the Schedule hereto, in respect to a Proclamation issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor and the Public Seal of the Dominion on the 14th day of June, 1911, declaring Waimea Creek and its tributaries in the Land District of Westland to be water-courses into which tailings, &c., may be discharged, have been settled, and all further claims and remedies in respect of the said Proclamation are barred as provided by the said Act.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the authority in me for this purpose vested, I, the Minister of Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and annul the appointment of the undermentioned warehouse for the reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof, namely,—
Port of Dunedin.
The warehouse known as the Union Steamship Company's Bond, as appointed and described in Commissioner's Order No. 786, of the 12th day of October, 1905.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Approving and appointing a Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the powers in me for this purpose vested by the Customs Law Act, 1908, I, the Minister of Customs, do hereby approve and appoint the undermentioned warehouse to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond, namely,—
Port of Dunedin.
Part of a building of wood and iron, roofed with iron, situate in George Street, Port Chalmers, on reclaimed land adjacent to George Street Wharf, to be known as
THE UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY'S BOND.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
