EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 84, folio 297, of Reserve 2011, situated in Blocks IX, X, and XIV of the Waipara Survey District, whereof THE CANTERBURY COLLEGE is the registered proprietor, and application having been made to me to issue a provisional certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I will issue such provisional certificate at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between HENRY WOOD, PETER WOOD, and DERISLEY WOOD, carrying on business at Ashburton as Grain Merchants and Millers, under the style or firm of “The Canterbury Roller Flour-mills Company,” has been dissolved as from the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

The business previously carried on by the partnership as the Canterbury Roller Flour-mills, at Ashburton, will, as from that date, be carried on by DERISLEY WOOD, of Ashburton, Grain Merchant and Miller, who will pay all debts due by the late firm in connection with the Canterbury Roller Flour-mills, and receive all sums of money due to

or owing in connection with those mills, and the receipt of the said Derisley Wood shall be a sufficient discharge to any person paying such moneys.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between JOSEPH OATES and ROBERT BROWN, carrying on business as Carters and Contractors at Tokomaru Bay, under the style or firm of “Oates and Brown,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 9th day of October, 1911. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said ROBERT BROWN, who will continue to carry on the said business.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1908; and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waikohu County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the making of a public road—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said county, situate at Te Karaka, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Newmarket Borough Council propose, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Newmarket Borough Council, at Newmarket, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-founded objection to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Newmarket Borough Council at Newmarket.
