Redesignation of Mounted Signal Companies.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to abolish, in accordance with section 6 (a) of the Defence Act, 1909, the existing designation of the undermentioned signal company, and to approve that the same be redesignated in the manner as set forth hereunder, and with effect from 18th March, 1911 : Otago Mounted Brigade Signal Corps to be redesignated “Otago Mounted Signal Company,” with headquarters at Oamaru.

Auckland Mounted Signal Company, with headquarters at Matangi.

Canterbury Mounted Signal Company, with headquarters at Ashburton.

Wellington Mounted Signal Company, with headquarters at Pahiatua.
