Matamata County.—Selwyn Settlement.—Lichfield Village.

Altitude, about 780 ft. above sea-level. Undulating land, covered with short fern, manuka, and tussock. Soil a light loam of medium quality. Situated four miles from Putaruru Railway-station by good cart-road. Post-office, telephone-office, and school are within half a mile of the section.

Opening Lands in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject
to section one hundred and thirty-five of the said Act, as they contain, or are supposed to contain, metal, mineral, or valuable stone.
