Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Rangiora Domain.

ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of October, 1911.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such Domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and one, certain powers were delegated to the Rangiora Domain Board for a period of ten years:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

JAMES CARMICHAEL,
HUGH BOYD,
JOHN WILKINSON FOSTER,
FREDERICK HORRELL,
CHARLES LEECH, and
JOHN OTWAY JOSLING,

as from the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, to be the Rangiora Domain Board, having the control of the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Mr. Charles Ivory Jennings’s office, High Street, Rangiora, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
RANGIORA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being reserve numbered 132 (in red), Block VI, Rangiora Survey District. Bounded north-eastward by Rural Section 1623, south-eastward by Rural Section 1197, south-westward by the road north-east of Rural Section 1179, and north-westward by the road south-east of Rural Section 2673.

Also all that area in Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 82 acres 2 roods, more or less, being reserve numbered 1563 (in red), Block VII, Rangiora Survey District. Bounded north-eastward by a road-line, south-eastward by Rural Section 4758, south-westward by Rural Sections 1197 and 1623, and north-westward by a road-line; also that area bounded north-eastward by Rural Sections 3025 and 12315, south-eastward by the Coldstream Road and reserve numbered 142 (in red), south-westward by the road north-east of Rural Sections 544 and 4758, and north-westward by the road south-east of Rural Section 10645.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. 1184, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Fairlie Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of October, 1911.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the fourth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three, delegating powers to the Mackenzie County Council as the Fairlie Domain Board, and doth hereby appoint

THOMAS FODEN,
WILLIAM LESLIE HOSKING,
CHARLES JOHN TALBOT,
JOHN EDEN GOODWIN,
JOSEPH BINNEY,
NICHOLAS O’TOOLE,
WILLIAM HENRY ANDERSON, and
JOHN CASKEY

to be the Fairlie Domain Board, having, subject to the said Act, control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land is a public domain, and shall be called the Fairlie Domain; and also doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Mackenzie County Council Office, Fairlie, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
FAIRLIE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 29 acres 2 roods, more or less, being reserve numbered 2755 (in red), Block VII, Tengawai Survey District. Bounded north-eastward by the River Opihi; south-eastward by Rural Section 35416; south-westward by rural sections numbered 21121, 22280, and 20810; and north-westward by Annandale Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1134, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Incorporating the Wentnor Land Settlement Association.

ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of October, 1911.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section seven of the Land Settlement Finance Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that, as soon as practicable after the complete execution of any agreement under the said Act, application in the prescribed form shall be made to the Governor, by or on behalf of the purchasers, for an Order in Council confirming the agreement in pursuance of the said Act: And whereas by sections eight and nine of the said Act it is further provided that upon receipt of such application the Minister of Finance shall refer the same, together with the agreement, to the Board of Land Purchase Commissioners for its report thereon, and if the Board reports that the agreement is fit and proper to be so confirmed the Governor may, if he thinks fit, by Order in Council confirm the agreement accordingly: And whereas under the provisions of the said Act an agreement, bearing date the fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, has been entered into between William Bernard North, vendor, of the one part, and James Spillane, William Linklater, John Joseph Taehen, Patrick Cassidy, and Arthur Riches, purchasers, of the other part, for the purchase of the land therein described, and the said purchasers therein agreed to become incorporated as the Wentnor Land Settlement Association: And whereas application has been made in the prescribed form for the issue of an Order in Council confirming the said agreement: And whereas the said application, together with the said agreement, was referred to the Board of Land Purchase Commissioners for its report, and the Board has reported that no roading is required in respect of the said land, and that the said agreement is fit and proper to be so confirmed:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby confirm the said agreement dated the fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
