Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Gorge Domain.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of October, 1911.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the seventeenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twentieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, the lands described in the Schedule hereto were brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
HUBERT BURNETT,
EDWIN JAMES GOTHARD,
JOHN HARRIS, Sen.,
JAMES JOSEPH BURT VEALE, and
JOHN GRANT
to be the Gorge Domain Board, having the control of the lands described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Borough Council Chambers, Woodville, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
GORGE DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 28 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Section No. 26, Block I, Mangahao Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east generally by a road and by Section No. 24, Block I, Mangahao Survey District; towards the east generally by the road forming part of the western boundary of Section No. 27 of said Block I; towards the south and south-west generally by a road; and towards the north-west by a right line bearing 41° 22′ 30″ from the northernmost angle of the last-mentioned road to the road forming the north-eastern boundary: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 25119/17, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 72 acres, more or less, being Section No. 27, Block I, Mangahao Survey District. Bounded towards the north and east generally by a road reserve along the Manawatu River; towards the south-east by a line forming the north-western boundary of Section No. 14, Block I, Mangahao Survey District; and towards the west generally by a road: excepting from the above-described area a public road which intersects the same: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 25119/10, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

EUGENE JOSEPH DRAFFIN, and
CHARLES EDWARD FYNNIER
to be the Kuaotunu Domain Board having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Munro’s Hall, Kuaotunu, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
KUAOTUNU DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, being Section 6, Block II, Otama Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by residence-site license, held by Annie O’Connor, bearing 102° 36′, 642·7 links: towards the east generally by the Mercury Bay–Kuaotunu Road, bearing 192° 39′, 36·4 links; 152° 35′, 866·1 links; and 184° 59′, 306·3 links: towards the south generally by residence-site license, held by Mable Eveline Petersen, and Section No. 3, mining district land-occupation lease, bearing 274° 59′, 500 links; 279° 16′, 706 links; and 247° 45′, 156 links: and towards the west generally by lines bearing 13° 6′, 295·5 links; 25° 43′, 307·6 links; 312° 6′, 213·6 links; 29° 42′, 228·8 links; and 38° 3′, 309·4 links: be all the aforesaid bearings and linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1393, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
