1911; proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly
direction for a distance of two miles, and passing, in, into,
through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Sec-
tions 47, 163, 49, Rotoiti Lagoon, Section 164, Waihi Lake,
part of Section 9, Sections 56 and 55, Block XV, Rangiriri
Survey District—and terminating at a point marked three
miles, which is about 103½ chains due south of the northern
boundary and about 204½ chains due west of the eastern
boundary of Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District; in-
cluding all adjoining and intervening places, lands, re-
serves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and water-
courses : all in the Land District of Auckland : as the
same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 28328,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at
Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of
New Zealand and its Dependencies ; and issued
under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the pur-
poses of a Sanitary Depot in the Otautau Town District :
And whereas the Otautau Town Board has laid before the
Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the
statutory declaration, as required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Town Boards Act, 1908, and the Public
Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority
in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the purposes of the said sanitary depot,
and shall vest in the Otautau Town Board, as from the date
hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also declare that this Pro-
clamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth
day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

works, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and
Burgesses of the Borough of Sumner as from the date
hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also declare that this
