THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners and mortgagees of the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Takaka County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, proclaim as a road the lands described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

All in the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto is a State forest under the control of the Commissioner of State Forests appointed under the State Forests Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed โ€œthe said Actโ€), and the said land is now no longer required for State-forest purposes: And whereas plans showing the extent and position of the said land, and a statement of the reasons why it is no longer required for State-forest purposes, have been laid before both Houses of Parliament for a period of thirty days, and no resolution has been passed by either of such Houses objecting to the issue of this Proclamation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers conferred by section twenty-eight of the said Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Proclamation specified in the second column of the Schedule hereto, so far as it relates to the land described in the first column of the Schedule hereto, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette; and doth hereby proclaim and declare that from and after such date the parcel of land described in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall be no longer subject to the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 2,635 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks IX and X, Waoku Survey District. Bounded towards the north, north-east, and east by Section 1, Block V, Waoku Survey District, and Crown land, 25000, 20600, and 8000 links respectively; towards the south-west by Sections 13 and 6, Block X, Waoku Survey District, 10400 links, thence along the summit of the Hauturu Range to Section 85, Block IX, Waoku Survey District; towards the south by Section 85 aforesaid and Crown land, 7000 links; and towards the west by Sections 18, 19, and 1, Block VII, Hokianga Survey District: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/982, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Proclamation dated the 1st June, 1906, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 43, of the 7th June, 1906.
