Resolution made by the Rangiaohia Road Board.

Wellington, 2nd October, 1911.
THE following resolution, made by the Rangiaohia
Road Board, is published in accordance with the
provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its
amendment.

RANGIAOHIA ROAD BOARD.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, the New
Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and the
New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Amendment Act,
1910, the Rangiaohia Road Board hereby resolves as
follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest
and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be
raised by the Rangiaohia Road Board, under the above-
mentioned Acts, for metalling roads, the said Rangiaohia
Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/9
of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all
rateable property of the Rangiaohia Road District; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly
on the 1st day of August in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six
years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above-written resolution was
duly passed at a meeting of the Rangiaohia Road Board
duly convened and held on the 16th day of September,
1911.

Resolution made by the Council of the County of Taieri.

THE following resolution, made by the Taieri County
Council, is published in accordance with the provi-
sions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its
amendment.

TAIERI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Resolution making Special Rate over the Brighton Special-
rating District as Security for a Loan of £250.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and
its amendments, the Taieri County Council hereby re-
solves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the
instalments in respect of principal and interest and also
the other charges on a loan of £250, authorized to be
raised by the Taieri County Council, under the Local
Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the
purpose of forming a new road from the end of the pre-
sent district road which terminates at the boundary be-
tween Sections 1 of 7 and 3 of 7, Block I, Otokia District,
for a mile towards the road forming the eastern boundary
of Section 2 of 18, Block I, Otokia District, and known
as the Tin Hut Road, the said Taieri County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1 1/4d. in the
pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital
value) of all rateable property of the Brighton Special-
rating District, comprising Sections 1 of 37, 41, 43, 49,
2 of 18, 2 of 19, 51, part 2 of 3 (9 acres 2 roods 13 perches),
1 of 10, 54, part Section 12 (99 acres), part Section 14
(77 acres), and Section 2 of 16, all in Block I, Otokia
Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is
fully paid off.

Council, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was duly proposed, seconded, and carried at the ordinary
meeting of the Taieri County Council held on Friday, the
22nd day of September, 1911.

Resolution made by the Pelorus Road Board.

THE following resolution, made by the Pelorus Road
Board, is published in accordance with the provi-
sions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amend-
ment.

PELORUS ROAD BOARD.
Resolution making Special Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies' Loans Amend-
ment Act, 1910, the Pelorus Road Board hereby resolves
as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the in-
stalments in respect of principal and interest and also
the other charges on a loan of £2,950 (part of a joint
special loan), authorized to be raised by the Pelorus Road
Board, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its
amendments, for the purpose of providing the Pelorus
Road Board's share of the cost of constructing a bridge
over the Wairau River on the Nelson to Blenheim Road
(Near Renwicktown), and approaches and protective works
thereto, as described in a Warrant dated the 14th day
of June, 1911, issued under the hand of His Excellency
the Governor in terms of section 119 of the Public Works
Act, 1908, the said Pelorus Road Board hereby makes and
levies a special rate of 1/7 of a penny in the pound upon
the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of
the Pelorus Road District; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of
July in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or
until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly
passed at a meeting of the Pelorus Road Board held on
the 16th September, 1911.

Resolution made by the Council of the County of
Waitotara.

THE following resolution, made by the Waitotara
County Council, is published in accordance with the
provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its
amendment.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Copy of a Resolution passed by the Waitotara County
Council on 2nd October, 1911, making a Special Rate
under Section 4 of the Local Bodies' Loans Amend-
ment Act, 1910.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies' Loans Amend-
ment Act, 1910, the Waitotara County Council hereby
resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing
the instalments in respect of principal and interest and
also the other charges on a loan of £5,300, authorized to
be raised by the Waitotara County Council, under the
Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for
the purpose of road formation, widening, and erecting
bridges throughout the county, the said Waitotara County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/12 of
a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rate-
able property of the Brunswick, Waitotara, Westmere,
the Tokomaru Riding, being the whole of the County of
Waitotara; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is
fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly
passed at a meeting of the Waitotara County Council
held on 2nd October, 1911.
