the southern shore of that inlet to the boundary of the Westhaven Riding at its intersection with Scenic Reserve No. 8, westward of Wairoa River; thence along the eastern boundary of the said Westhaven Riding to the boundary of Rockville Riding; thence via Oti Mataura Creek to Aorere River; thence along the Aorere River to Golden Bay; thence along the shore of Golden Bay to the starting-point at Pakawau River mouth.

Collingwood.

This riding includes the whole of the Port and Village of Gibbstown, and extends therefrom southward along the foreshore of Golden Bay to the Milnthorpe Road near Parapara River mouth; thence along the said Milnthorpe Road to its intersection with the Collingwood-Takaka Inland Road; thence north-westward along the latter road to its intersection with Appo’s Flat Road; thence along the boundary-line between Sections 218, 217, 205, and 206 in Block XIV, Pakawau Survey District, and a public road to the main Aorere Road; thence north-eastward along the latter road to the boundary-line between Sections 4 and 6 of Block XIV, Pakawau Survey District; thence along the said boundary-line and the boundary-line between Sections 5 and 7 in the same survey district to Aorere River; thence along the southern bank of the said river to the starting-point.

Parapara.

Joins and follows the southern boundary of Collingwood Riding along the Milnthorpe and Inland Roads to Appo’s Flat Road, thence along the said Appo’s Flat Road to Aorere River at its junction with Stanton’s Creek, thence along Aorere River to the confluence of Slate River, thence follows Slate River to the county boundary at Slate River Peak, thence along the county boundary to the sea at Purawhakaho, thence along the foreshore to starting-point at Milnthorpe Road north of Parapara River mouth.

Rockville.

Commences on Appo’s Flat Road coterminous there with Collingwood and Parapara Ridings, follows the north-western boundary of Collingwood Riding to Aorere River, thence follows the southern boundary of Pakawau Riding via Oti Mataura Creek to boundary of Westhaven Riding, thence along portion of the eastern boundary of that riding to Kaituna River, thence down that river to Kaituna Bridge at intersection of Section 129 (“King’s Corner”), thence following public road-lines eastward to Aorere River at intersection of Section 156, thence following portion of the western boundary of Parapara Riding to the starting-point.

Bainham.

Commences at the Aorere River at the southern boundary of Rockville Riding on public road fronting Section 156 (Jos. Skilton), follows the said boundary throughout to its junction with Westhaven Riding at the head of Kaituna River, thence southward and westward along the boundary of Westhaven Riding to the sea, thence along the sea-coast to the boundary of the county at Koihaihai Bluff, thence along the southern county boundary to Slate River Peak, thence along the western boundary of Parapara Riding to the starting-point.

The resolution to make the foregoing special order was passed at a special meeting of the Collingwood County Council held at the County offices in the Council Chamber, at Collingwood, on the 3rd day of July, 1911, and such resolution was confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Collingwood County Council held at the Council Chamber on the 28th day of August, 1911, public notice of the time and place of such subsequent meeting and of such resolution having been duly given as required by law.

Special Order made by the Mangatarata Road Board, County of Patangata.

THE following special order, made by the Mangatarata Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

MANGATARATA ROAD BOARD.

Special Order.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Road Boards Act, 1908, and any amendments to either of them, the Mangatarata Road Board hereby resolves: That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorized to be raised by the Mangatarata Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling the Mangatarata Road from the Tungatupuna Creek, the said Mangatarata Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangatarata Road Board District, comprising all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District in the Waipukurau Survey District, with boundaries as described in Gazette No. 74, page 2311, dated 9th September, 1909; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of April and the 31st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PELORUS ROAD BOARD.

Special Order.

THE Pelorus Road Board, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Road Boards Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same respectively, and by virtue of a Warrant dated the 14th day of June, 1911, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, in terms of section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1908, and in pursuance of all other Acts and powers (if any) enabling it in that behalf, hereby resolves by special order to borrow, by way of special loan, the sum of £2,950 (part of a joint special loan with the Blenheim Borough Council, the Havelock Town Board, the Omaka Road Board, and the Wairau Road Board) for the purpose of providing the Pelorus Road Board’s share of the cost of constructing a bridge over the Wairau River on the Nelson to Blenheim Road (near Renwicktown), and approaches and protective works thereto, as described in the said Warrant, also for paying the costs of raising the loan and the first year’s interest of the loan during the construction of the said works; that the currency of the said special loan shall be
