Notice of Intention to take Land in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District, for the Purposes of a Wireless-telegraph Station.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a wireless-telegraph station in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Public Works Department, Government Buildings, Wellington, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block V, Tarawera Survey District, Rotorua County, for State Forest-plantation Purposes.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1910, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for State forest-plantation purposes. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Rotorua, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for scenery-preservation purposes. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Rotoiti, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the power in me for this purpose vested by the Customs Law Act, 1908, I, the Minister of Customs, do hereby appoint that the undermentioned building shall be a place where goods may be deposited for examination on the landing thereof, namely:—

situated on Victoria Wharf, and marked “R.”
