Result of Election of a Member of Gisborne Fire Board by Fire-insurance Companies.

THE following result of the election of a member of the Gisborne Fire Board by fire-insurance companies has been reported to the Minister of Internal Affairs, and is notified in accordance with the rules made under the Fire Brigades Act, 1908.

Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Onehunga and the One Tree Hill Road District, and also of Eden County.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the boundaries of the Borough of Onehunga are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by an Order in Council dated the 27th day of June, 1911, made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and published in Gazette No. 52, of the 29th day of June, 1911.
And also in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the boundaries of the One Tree Hill Road District, and of the County of Eden, affected by the alteration made by the said Order in Council dated the 27th day of June, 1911, are hereby defined as set out respectively in the Second and Third Schedules hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF ONEHUNGA.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-east by Mount Smart Road from the north-eastern corner of Allotment No. 3, Section No. 13, Suburbs of Auckland, to a point in line with the south-eastern side of Campbell Road; thence towards the north-west by a right line across Mount Smart Road and by the south-eastern side of Campbell Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of part of Allotment No. 13 of Section No. 12, Suburbs of Auckland (hospital reserve); thence towards the south-west by a right line across Campbell Road and by the said hospital reserve to its northernmost corner; thence again towards the north-west by part of Allotment No. 13 of Section No. 12, Suburbs of Auckland (educational reserve), to Cornwall Park; thence again towards the north-east by Cornwall Park to and across Campbell Road; thence again towards the north-west by Campbell Road to the northern extension of Queen Street; thence towards the east by the said northern extension of Queen Street to and across Mount Smart Road; thence again towards the north-east and towards the north by Mount Smart Road to the north-western corner of Allotment No. 15, in Section No. 17, Suburbs of Auckland; thence towards the east generally by the said Allotment No. 15, across the railway reserve, and by Allotments Nos. 14, 13, 12, and 8 to Church Street, across Church Street, by Allotment No. 4, across a road, and by Allotment No. 5, Section No. 17 aforesaid, to the Manukau Harbour; thence towards the south generally by Manukau Harbour and Puhea Creek to a point opposite the south-eastern corner of Allotment No. 2, Section No. 13, Suburbs of Auckland; and thence towards the west by a right line across Summer Street and by Allotments Nos. 2 and 3, Section No. 13, Suburbs of Auckland, to Mount Smart Road, the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF ONE TREE HILL ROAD DISTRICT.
ALL that area in Eden County bounded towards the north-east by the north-eastern side of the Great South Road from its junction with the Auckland-Onehunga Road to Hamlin’s Creek at St. Ann’s Bridge; thence towards the south generally by Hamlin’s Creek and Manukau Harbour to the south-eastern corner of the Borough of Onehunga; thence towards the south-west generally by the Borough of Onehunga to the Auckland-Onehunga Road; and thence towards the west generally by the said Auckland-Onehunga Road to the place of commencement.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF EDEN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north generally by Waitemata Harbour from the Whau River to the Tamaki River; thence towards the east generally by the Tamaki River and the Otahuhu Creek to Portage Road; thence towards the south by Portage Road to Manukau Harbour; thence towards the west and again towards the south by Manukau Harbour to the Borough of Onehunga; thence by the Borough of Onehunga and again by Manukau Harbour to the western side of Portage Road at Karaka Bay; thence towards the west by the western sides of Portage Road, Brennan Street, Portage Road North, and the northern side of the Great North Road to the Whau River at the Whau Bridge; and thence by the Whau River to Waitemata Harbour, the place of commencement: excluding the City of Auckland, the Boroughs of Grey Lynn, Parnell, Newmarket, Mount Eden, Mount Albert, and the Town District of Ellerslie.
