DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us as Storekeepers at Taneatua, Bay of Plenty, under the firm-name of “Macquarters and James,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between us as Consulting Engineers and Indent Agents carried on by us at Tyrone Buildings, Custom Street, Auckland, has been dissolved as from the 1st day of August, 1911. The business will in future be carried on by Mr. R. J. LAIRD.

BOROUGH OF TE KUITI.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A STREET.

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Te Kuiti Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the laying-out and construction of a street; and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Queen Street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice (viz., the 6th day of September, 1911), to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Queen Street, Te Kuiti.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, the Tramways Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and their amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of Wellington proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, and all other Acts enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of a tramway to Wadestown, in the said city; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Council, in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said city, and are there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk, at his said office.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.

Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.

Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication, a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.

A SPECIAL Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is now published fortnightly, containing all notices concerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents, expired letters patent, and other information useful to inventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on payment of a subscription of eleven shillings per annum, including postage, payable in advance to the Government Printer.

SUBSCRIPTION, 2s. 6d. PER ANNUM, INCLUDING POSTAGE.
