Special Orders made by the Council of the County of Waikohu.

THE following special orders, made by the Waikohu County Council, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

WAIKOHU COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order made on 24th Day of March, 1911; confirmed on 28th Day of April, 1911.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, the Waikohu County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £300, authorized to be raised by the Waikohu County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for strengthening and completing the present Rangatira Suspension Bridge now in course of erection, the said Waikohu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/5 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Rangatira Suspension Bridge Special District, comprising Rangatira No. 1, 322 acres, value £5,354; Rangitira 3e, 3f, 3g, 3h, 3i, 1,151 acres, value £4,898; Rangitira No. 2, 2,621 acres, value £9,692: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be 3½ per cent.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waikohu was hereto affixed in the presence of—

WAIKOHU COUNTY COUNCIL.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, the Waikohu County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,250, authorized to be raised by the Waikohu County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for forming and metalling 48 chains, Whatatutu Deviation, on the Whatatutu-Mangatu Road, the said Waikohu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/22 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Whatatutu Road Deviation Special District, comprising all the lands in the Schedule attached hereto.
