Lands temporarily reserved in the Nelson Land District.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Nelson Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, and being Section 18, Block XV, Maruia Survey District. Bounded towards the west and north-west by the Maruia Valley Road intersecting Section 5 of the said block, and towards the east and south-east by the said Section 5; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5550/1A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For metal purposes.
Also all that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 9 perches, more or less, and being Section 10, Block XII, Mokihinui Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 3, Block VIII, of the said survey district; and towards the south-east and south-west by the continuation of the road forming part of the south-western boundary of the said section: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5550/1B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For gravel purposes.
Also all that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 1 rood 12 perches, more or less, being Section 9, Block XII, Mokihinui Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 3, Block VIII, of the said survey district; towards the south-east by the continuation of the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section 7 of the before-mentioned Block XII; and towards the south-west and north-west by the said Section 7: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5550/1C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a resting-place for travelling stock.
Also all that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, and being Section 8, Block XII, Mokihinui Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by the continuation of the road forming part of the north-eastern boundary of Section 7 of the said Block XII, towards the south-east by the said section, and towards the south-west and north-west by the road along the right bank of the right-hand branch of Six-mile Creek; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5550/1D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public school.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 137 acres, more or less, being Section 6, Block XII, Linkwater Survey District, commencing at the south-east corner of Section 7, Block XII, Linkwater Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by Section 7 aforesaid, 3171·7 links; thence across a public road, 1 chain wide; towards the south-west by the northern side of that road, 1275·4 links; again towards the north-west by Section 18, Block XII, Linkwater Survey District, and the abutment of a public road, 995 links; towards the north generally and east by Section 21, Block XII, Linkwater Survey District, 913·3 links, 375·8 links, 459·5 links, 369·7 links, 1298·1 links, 469·2 links, 740·2 links, 541·6 links, 876·6 links, and 307·1 links to Trig. H.; and towards the south generally by Section 20, Block XII, Linkwater Survey District, 1300·7 links, 285 links, 510·9 links, 736·7 links, 642·2 links, 932·5 links, 327·7 links, 366·1 links, and 253·6 links, to the point of commencement: excluding a public road, 1 chain wide, partly intersecting the section: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1481/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
JOHN BLACK
to be a Trustee, in the place of George Henry Graham, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Waimate Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Andrew Carter, Alfred Garland, the Reverend McKenzie Gibson, John Foley, and Arthur James Manchester, previously appointed.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
