Land proclaimed as a Street in Block X, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owner of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and of the Wellington City Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a street the land in Port Nicholson Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

Approximate Area of the Parcel of Land proclaimed as a Street. Being Portion of Section No. Situated in Block Situated in Survey District of Shown on Plan Coloured on Plan
A. R. P. 0 0 7·86 26, Town Belt, City of Wellington X Port Nicholson P.W.D. 28053 Edged Green.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Cemetery in Block VIII, Tokomaru Survey District, Waiapu County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Cemeteries Act, 1908, for the purposes of a cemetery in Block VIII, Tokomaru Survey District :

And whereas the Council of the County of Waiapu has laid before the Governor a memorial, together with a map, in duplicate, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the Public Works Act, 1908 :

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities in me vested by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said cemetery, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Waiapu County Council; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a road in Blocks IV and VIII, Maramarua Survey District :

And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed :

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities in me vested by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

WHEREAS by the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), a Scenery Preservation Board is constituted, and it is enacted that such Board shall, when so directed by the Minister charged for the time being with the administration of the said Act, inspect any lands possessing scenic
