A PPLICATION having been made to the Westland Land Board for the issue of a copy of occupation-with-right-of-purchase license numbered 10 of Section 232, Block X, Okuru Survey District, whereof ANDREW NOLAN is the registered licensee, and evidence of the loss of the original license having been lodged, I hereby give notice that I will issue a new license unless objection be lodged forbidding the same within fourteen days after the publication of the notice in the Gazette.

IN THE MATTER OF MOA PETROLEUM (LIMITED).
IN TERMS OF SECTION 223 OF THE COMPANIES ACT, 1908.
N OTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at 37 Panama Street, Wellington, the following resolutions were duly passed as extraordinary resolutions, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company also duly convened and held at the same place on the 29th day of June, 1911, the said resolutions were duly confirmed as special resolutions, that is to say :-
“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“2. That HERBERT DOUGLAS VICKERY be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

In the matter of the ALEXANDRA ANTIMONY COMPANY (LIMITED).
I N terms of section 223 of the Companies Act, 1908, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Alexandra Antimony Company (Limited) held at the Chamber of Commerce, Wellington, on Wednesday, the 15th day of March, 1911, at 12 o’clock noon, the following resolution was duly passed as an extraordinary resolution :-
“That is has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up same, and that accordingly that the company be wound-up voluntarily, under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.”
WALTER GEORGE FOSTER, ARTHUR THOMAS BATE, and HERBERT DOUGLAS VICKERY were appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.

NOTICE OF INTENTION OF THE WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL TO TAKE LAND.
IN THE MATTER OF THE COUNTIES ACT, 1908, AND OF THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.
N OTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the widening of a certain public road running through part of Te Kuiti Number 2b, Section 13; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situate in Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, at the county offices, Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti.

N OTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, a general meeting of Wonderland (Limited), (in liquidation), will be held at 106 Victoria Arcade, Queen Street, Auckland, on Wednesday, the 12th July, 1911, at 2.15 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having laid before the meeting the account of the Liquidator showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing an explanation thereof given by the Liquidator.
Pursuant to section 252, the company will be asked to consider, and, if though fit, to pass the following extraordinary resolution :-
“That the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof be retained in the possession of STANLEY GEORGE CHAMBERS for the period of one year, and at the expiry of that period be destroyed.”

N OTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed at the annual general meeting of the shareholders of the Koputarua Fibre Company (Limited) held on the 30th day of May, 1911, and confirmed at an extraordinary general meeting held on the 15th day of June, 1911, both of which meetings were duly constituted in accordance with the Articles of Association of said company, viz. :-
“That the company go into voluntary liquidation forthwith, and that P. L. SIM be appointed Liquidator.”

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.
N OTICE is hereby given that this Council proposes to execute a certain public work, and for that purpose to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
The works proposed to be undertaken are the formation, metalling, and drainage of a road, in the Pakarae No. 2 Block and in the Whangara B No. 2 Block, to connect with Pakarae cart-bridge.
Any person having any objection to the taking of the land, or who will be injuriously affected by the construction of the road, is required to state their objection in writing, and send the writing to the office of the Cook County Council, Childers Road, Gisborne, on or before the 24th day of July, 1911.
A plan of the roads to be taken and of the works to be undertaken may be seen at the office of the Council during office hours.
