Bounded towards the north generally by a public road,
100 links wide, 706·6, 798·3, 1139·4, 2059·8, 383, 441·3,
1142·8, 588·9, and 142·2 links ; towards the east and south-
east by Poroti Kauri-gum Reserve, 2401·3, 1845·3, 1384·8,
1384·1, and 2086·4 links ; towards the south-west and west
by Poroti Kauri-gum Reserve aforesaid, 984·9, 1173·9,
313·9, 977, 796·1, 1070·6, and 4878·5 links : be all the afore-
said linkages more or less : as the same is delineated on
the plan marked L. 5525/2, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged
red. (Auckland plan 16020, blue.)

Certificate and Declaration of Execution of Criminal.

lished in conformity with the provisions of the
Crimes Act, 1908.

CERTIFICATE OF EXECUTION OF SENTENCE OF DEATH.
I, DONALD NORMAN WATSON MURRAY, the Medical Officer
in attendance at the execution of Tahi Kaka at His
Majesty’s Prison at Mount Eden, do hereby certify and
declare that I have this day witnessed the execution of
the said Tahi Kaka at the said prison ; and I do further
certify and declare that the said Tahi Kaka was, in pur-
suance of the sentence of the Supreme Court, hanged by
the neck until his body was dead.
Given under my hand, this 21st day of June, 1911, at His
Majesty’s Prison at Mount Eden.

DECLARATION OF EXECUTION OF SENTENCE OF DEATH.
We do hereby testify and declare that we have this day
been present when the extreme penalty of the law was
carried into execution on the body of Tahi Kaka, con-
victed at the criminal sittings of the Supreme Court held
at Auckland on the 22nd day of May last, and sentenced
to death ; and that the said Tahi Kaka was, in pursuance
of the said sentence, hanged by the neck until his body
was dead.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block VII, Pirongia
Survey District, for Road Purposes.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute
a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road
in Block VII, Pirongia Survey District, and for the
purposes of such public work the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is
hereby further given that the plan of the land so required
to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Pirongia, and is
there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by
the execution of the said public work or by the taking of
the said land should, if they have any well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and
send such writing, within forty days from the first publi-
cation of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at
Wellington.

Forbidding Money-order and Postal Correspondence for
W. Chase, Post-office Box 1530, Sydney.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zea-
land having reasonable ground for supposing that the
person whose name and present address are shown in the
Schedule hereunder is engaged in a fraudulent business, it
is hereby ordered, under section 28 of the Post and Telegraph
Act, 1908, that no money-order in favour of the said person
shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the
said person (either by his own or any fictitious or assumed
name), or addressed to the address in the Schedule here-
under without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded
by the Post Office of New Zealand.
