Notifying Lands in Southland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

LOCALITY AND DESCRIPTION.
Altitude, from 110 ft. to 120 ft. above sea-level. All flat, excepting Sections 75 to 79, which are slightly undulating; originally heavy birch forest, which has recently been felled. Loamy soil, on gravel formation; Sections 65 to 73 are well watered. Sections 35, 37, and 45 to 48 front the main Tuatapere-Otatau Road; Sections 57, 58, and 60 to 62 front a formed road. The block is distant from Tuatapere Railway-station, school, and post-office from 12 to 35 chains; and a dairy factory is being erected on the western side of the Waiau, immediately opposite.

Opening National Endowment Lands in Auckland Land District for Selection.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the national endowment lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Monday, the twenty-eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Act.
