New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued

Land taken for the Purposes of a Native School in Block XI,
East Cape Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for the purposes of a Native school, in Block XI,
East Cape Survey District :
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to
be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land
for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed
and performed :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities
in me vested by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purposes of a Native school ; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day
of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Hawea Survey District, Vincent County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain work, to wit, for the purposes of the
Hawea Flat Post-office, in Block V, Lower Hawea Survey
District :
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in
terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such
land for the public work hereinafter set forth :
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister
has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation
taking the land as required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities
in me vested by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the
agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the purposes of the Hawea Flat post-
office ; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of June,
one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed
and performed :

Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation
