Weighted with £50 14s., valuation for improvements consisting of 40½ chains fencing, £35 14s.; three gates, £3; whare, £12.

To insure better fencing-lines than formerly existed it is the present intention that when feasible the boundaries be amended to accord with the dotted lines on plan, and this must be taken into consideration when the land is selected.

Situated on Te Maire Road. Access is from Ball Road Railway-station, which is about nine miles distant by formed dray-road, part of which is metalled. The section comprises a good flat of a few acres on the road-frontage, with steep spurs falling away into a gorgy stream. The soil is of a clayey loam, on a papa formation. Practically the whole of the section has been felled, a fringe of bush remaining along the back and southern boundary, but a portion of the clearing is more or less overgrown with scrub. The section is fairly well watered.
