OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Ohinemuri County Council to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road through the blocks of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto—and for the purpose of such public work to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof, the lands described in the said Schedule.

And notice is hereby given that a copy of the plan of the said lands so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Ohinemuri County Council at Paeroa, in the said county, and is there open for inspection during ordinary office hours.

And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Ohinemuri County Council, at its offices in Belmont Road, Paeroa.

I, RANDOLPH FORTESCUE DRUMMOND ABBOTT, of Auckland, solicitor, do hereby give notice that I have assumed and intend henceforth upon all occasions and at all times to sign and use and be called and known by the Christian and surname of RANDOLPH ABBOTT, in lieu of and in substitution for my present Christian and surname of Randolph Fortescue Drummond Abbott; and that such intended change is formally declared and evidenced by deed-pool under my hand and seal dated this day, and intended to be enrolled forthwith in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that the alleged aerated-water partnership between GEORGE WILLIAM LAW, of Waihi, Settler, and LEONARD PERCY PHILLIPS, of Waihi aforesaid, Aerated-water Manufacturer, is hereby dissolved from and after the date hereof, and that from and after said date no debts incurred by the said GEORGE WILLIAM LAW, in the name of the alleged firm of “Law and Phillips,” will be recognized or paid by the said LEONARD PERCY PHILLIPS.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company held at the company’s office, Bridge Street, Eltham, on the 3rd day of April, 1911, the following special resolution was passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company held at the company’s office, Bridge Street, Eltham, on the 1st day of May, 1911, the said resolution was duly confirmed, viz. :—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.”

THE Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board doth hereby by special order, in terms of section 62 of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908, resolve to borrow the sum of One hundred thousand pounds sterling (£100,000).

The foregoing special order was made at a special meeting of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board convened on the requisition of the Chairman under date the 23rd day of March, 1911, and held on the 29th day of March, 1911.
