NOTE.—The weather during the month has been warm and dry with northerly winds prevailing. Total bright sunshine, 228 hours 5 minutes; and one sunless day. The mean earth temperature at 1 ft. was 61·7°, and 61·4° at 3 ft. Mean dew-point, 53·7°; mean elastic force of vapour, 0·413 in.; and mean relative humidity, 73 per cent.
