IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and
declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto
shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
a district road.

Declaring a Road on Railway Land between Moana and
Ruru to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
eighth day of March, 1911.

THE HONOURABLE JAMES CARROLL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that a certain road
between Moana and Ruru, on the Springfield to Brunner ton
Railway (Greymouth-Otira Section), and described in the
Schedule hereto, and which said road has been laid off on
railway land, shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, become a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those four parcels of land in the Westland Land Dis-
trict, containing in the aggregate 8 acres 1 rood 21ยท4 perches,
more or less, being portions of railway land between Moana
and Ruru, on the Greymouth-Otira Railway, situated in
Blocks IV and V, Brunner Survey District; as the said four
parcels of land are more particularly shown coloured yellow
on plan marked W.R. 18344, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Railways, at Wellington.

Revoking Order in Council licensing the Kauri Timber
Company (Limited) to use and occupy a Part of Fore-
shore at Whangaroa.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
eighth day of March, 1911.

THE HONOURABLE JAMES CARROLL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the second
day of February, one thousand nine hundred and
eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 11,
of the ninth day of the same month, His Excellency the
Governor in Council did, inter alia, in pursuance of the
provisions of the Harbours Act, 1908, license the Kauri
Timber Company (Limited), of Auckland, to use and
occupy a part of the foreshore at Whangaroa for the pur-
pose of constructing and maintaining thereon a wharf,
slip, bridge, shed, and stacking-ground in the position
shown as number 15 on, and in accordance with, plan
marked M.D. 2294, and deposited in the office of the
Marine Department at Wellington, and upon and subject
to the terms and conditions therein set forth :
And whereas the said Kauri Timber Company (Limited)
desires that the said license shall be revoked :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of all the powers enabling him in that
behalf, doth hereby revoke and determine the said recited
Order in Council of the second day of February, one
thousand nine hundred and eleven, so far as it relates to
the site for wharf, slip, bridge, shed, and stacking-ground,
but not further or otherwise.

Consenting to a Mortgage of Native Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixth
day of April, 1911.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE J. A. MILLAR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two hundred and thirty of the
Native Land Act, 1909, it is provided that no
instrument of alienation of Native land by way of mort-
gage or charge, other than a mortgage or charge in favour
of a State Loan Department, shall be confirmed by a
Board or the Court without the precedent consent of the
Governor in Council :
And whereas application has been made for the consent
of the Governor in Council to a mortgage of the block or
parcel of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto : And
whereas it is expedient that the precedent consent of the
Governor in Council should issue :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Do-
minion, doth hereby consent to the alienation by way of
mortgage of the block or parcel of land set out in the
Schedule hereto. And it is hereby declared that this
Order in Council is made under the provisions in that
behalf of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall operate
accordingly as a consent of the Governor in Council to
the proceedings hereby authorized.
