Land proclaimed as a Road in Block II, Tokatoka Survey

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder
Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of
the owners and mortgagees of the land mentioned in the
Schedule hereto, and of the Hobson County Council, being
the local authority in whose district the said land is situated,
proclaim as a road the land in Tokatoka Survey District
described in the Schedule hereto.

particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as
above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial
District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of
New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued
under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this eighth
day of April, in the year of our Lord one
thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Hares protected in certain Districts.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixth
day of April, 1911.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE J. A. MILLAR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by section seven of the Animals Protection Amendment Act, 1910, His Excellency the Governor
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby suspend the operation of the said
section seven within the areas specified in the Schedule
hereto with respect to hares.

SCHEDULE.

THE whole of the area comprised in the Buller Acclimatizatization District.
The whole of the area comprised in the Southland Acclimatization District.
All that portion of the Wellington Acclimatization District lying to the southward of a line commencing at Paekakariki, thence to the summit of the Rimutaka Range, and thence to the sea at Whareama.

Certain Species of Birds indigenous to New Zealand not
to be deemed protected.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixth
day of April, 1911.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE J. A. MILLAR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the Animals Protection Act, 1908,
as amended by the Animals Protection Amendment Act,
1910, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
suspend the operation of section ten of the said Animals
Protection Amendment Act, 1910, for the period commencing
on the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred
and eleven, and ending on the thirty-first day of July, one
thousand nine hundred and eleven, with respect to the
species of birds indigenous to New Zealand mentioned in
the Schedule hereto:
Provided, however, that the said birds shall not be taken
or killed except in such districts and on such conditions
as may be notified by the Governor under the said Acts.

NATIVE pigeon, pukeko, teal, grey duck.

Exempting Portions of Vivian and Morley Streets, in the
Borough of New Plymouth, from the Provisions of
Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixth
day of April, 1911.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE J. A. MILLAR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is,
inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply
in any case where the local authority having control of
a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions
thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or
any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved
by the Governor in Council:
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided
that such approval may be either absolute or subject
to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the
Governor by Order in Council thinks fit to impose:
And whereas on the thirteenth day of February, one
thousand nine hundred and eleven, the New Plymouth
Borough Council, the local authority having control of the
portions of Vivian and Morley Streets, described in the
Schedule hereto, did by resolution declare that the provisions
of the said section one hundred and seventeen
should not apply to the said portions of streets:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution
should be approved:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise
of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve
of the said resolution, in so far as it affects the said
portions of streets described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Vivian Street, in the Borough of New
Plymouth, to which Subsections 335, 336, 337, 338, and
339 of Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 in the said borough have
frontages.
Also all that portion of Morley Street, in the said
borough, to which Subsections 339 and 365 of Sections 4,
5, 6, and 7 in the said borough and portion of closed part
of Fulford Street have frontages.
