Additional Land at Levin taken for the Purposes of the
Wellington and Manawatu Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington
and Manawatu Railway to take further land at Levin,
in addition to land previously acquired for the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me
by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above
mentioned.

SCHEDULE.
THE parcel of land mentioned hereunder:โ€”

Approximate Area of the Parcel of Land taken. Being Portion of Situated in Block No. Situated in the Survey District of
A. R. P. 0 3 34 Subdivision 10, Horowhenua I Waiopehu.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 18257,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at
Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and
thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over His Majestyโ€™s Dominion of
New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued
under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this second
day of January, in the year of our Lord one
thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block LX,
Hokonui Survey District, Southland County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred
by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John
Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the
consents of the owner and mortgagee of the land men-
tioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the South-
land County Council, being the local authority in whose
district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the
land in Hokonui Survey District described in the First
Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like con-
sents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described
in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by
reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

All in the Southland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured
