IN LIQUIDATION.

THE STANDARD OIL COMPANY OF NEW ZEALAND (LIMITED).

I HEREBY give notice that a special resolution was passed on the 22nd day of February, 1911, and confirmed on the 21st day of March, 1911, that the above-named company be wound up voluntarily. At such last-mentioned meeting I was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.

All persons or companies having claims against the said company are required to send full particulars thereof to me on or before the 21st day of May, 1911, otherwise they will be excluded from participating in the distribution of assets.

THE WAIRARAPA RACING CLUB (REGISTERED).

THE Wairarapa Racing Club (Registered), in pursuance and exercise of the power in that behalf vested in it by section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, doth hereby make the following regulations controlling the admission of persons to the Wairarapa Racecourse at Tauherenikau :—

  1. No person who is a bookmaker, betting agent, layer of starting prices, or clerk to any bookmaker, betting agent, or layer of starting prices, or who has been engaged in any of the said occupations during any part of the twelve months preceding the 31st day of January, 1911, and no person who has been guilty of any malpractice or dishonourable conduct in connection with racing or betting, or has been warned off any racecourse by any racing club in accordance with the Rules of Racing, and no person who is at the time a defaulter or on the official list of defaulters published by any racing association or recognized jockey or racing club in New Zealand or elsewhere, shall be admitted or suffered to remain on the racecourse on any day on which a race meeting shall be held.

  2. No person as in the last preceding section is mentioned shall obtain the right to come and go upon the racecourse or to remain thereon by reason of his being a member of any racing or jockey club, or of his having paid any fee or obtained any ticket of admission, and his ejection from the course shall give him no right to a return of his fee or ticket.

  3. Every person shall, before entering on the racecourse upon any day on which a race meeting is being held or is to be held, provide himself with a ticket of admission, which ticket he shall, if and when required, produce and surrender to any steward, secretary, gate-keeper, or other person appointed by the club. Admission to the racecourse shall be only by gates fixed by the club at which gatekeepers appointed by the club are stationed, and no person shall enter the racecourse by any other way.

  4. The following fees and charges shall be paid by all persons seeking admission to the racecourse or any stand erected thereon :—

For admission to the said racecourse outside the stand enclosures, in respect of each person … … … … … … s. d.

The above regulations were approved, made, and passed by the Wairarapa Racing Club (Registered) at a meeting of the stewards of the said club duly convened, held at Tauherenikau on the 15th day of March, 1911; and the common seal of the said club was hereunto affixed by the order of and pursuant to a resolution of the said meeting by WILLIAM EDWARD BIDWILL, chairman of the said meeting, on the 15th day of March, 1911.

I HEREBY give notice that under a deed of assignment dated this 31st day of March, 1911, I have become the sole trustee of the above-named R. T. Abbot’s estate for the benefit of all creditors.

Creditors are requested to forward their claims to my office, Union Buildings, Customs Street East, Auckland, on or before the 31st day of May, 1911.

Claims not received by that date will not be recognized.
