MIKONUI SCENIC RESERVE.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1,000 acres, more or less, being Reserve
No. 1183, situated in Blocks I and V, Totara Survey District.
Bounded towards the east by a right line running due south
through the easternmost corner of Section No. 2914 from the
south boundary of Section No. 1985 for a distance of
10700 links; thence by a right line bearing 225°, distance
11000 links; thence by a right line running due south
8000 links to the easternmost corner of Section No. 2527;
thence towards the south-west by that section to and across
the Main South Road; thence by that road to Section
No. 1934; thence by the last-mentioned section for a dis-
tance of 1000 links; thence towards the west by a right
line running due north to the road forming the southern
boundary of Reserve No. 210; thence by that road to and
across the Main South Road; thence by the Main South
Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of
Reserve No. 210; thence across the Main South Road and
by the northern boundary of the said reserve for a distance
of 2000 links; thence by a right line running through the
westernmost corner of Section No. 2914 to the southern
boundary of Section No. 1985; and thence towards the
north by that section to the place of commencement:
excluding the Main South Road, Sections Nos. 1983 and
2914, and twelve gravel reserves fronting the Main South
Road: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the
same is delineated on the plan marked L. 575/1, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.

WAIHO RIVER BANK SCENIC RESERVE.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 99 acres 1 rood 39 perches, more or less,
being Reserve No. 823, situated in Block VII, Waiho Survey
District. Bounded towards the north-east by a road re-
serve along the left bank of the Waiho River; towards the
south-east by a public road; towards the south by the road
forming the northern boundaries of Reserve No. 339 and
Section No. 2199; and towards the west and north-west by
Section No. 2405: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. 574/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Subject to existing mining rights.

LAKE WAHAPO SCENIC RESERVE.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1450 acres, more or less, being Reserve
No. 1017, situated in Blocks XII and XVI, Okarito Survey
District, and Blocks IX and XIII, Wataroa Survey District.
Bounded towards the north-east and east by the north-eastern
and eastern shores of Lake Wahapo from the western boundary
of Education Reserve No. 124 to the south-western boundary
of that reserve; thence by the said south-western boundary
for a distance of 3000 links; thence towards the south-east
by a right line bearing 225°, distance 5500 links; thence
towards the south by a right line through Trig. Station 1E to
the south-eastern corner of Section No. 2113; thence towards
the west by that section and its eastern boundary produced
to the Wahapo River; thence along the left bank of that
river north-westerly for a distance of 1300 links; thence
towards the north-west by a right line bearing 45°, distance
7500 links; thence towards the north by a right line running
due east to the western boundary of Education Reserve
No. 124; and thence towards the west by that reserve to
Lake Wahapo, the place of commencement: excepting the
road round the Wahapo Lake, the Main South Road, and
four gravel reserves: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 573/1,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wel-
ington, and thereon coloured red.

Altering Representation of Mount Peel Road District on
Timaru Harbour Board, and appointing Principal
Authority and Returning Officer.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this first
day of April, 1911.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE JAMES CARROLL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section twelve of the Harbours
Amendment Act, 1910 (hereinafter referred to as
“the said Act”), it is enacted that the creation, abolition,
merger, division, or other alteration of any constituent or
combined district shall not in itself have any operation
so as to affect the then existing membership of the Board,
and that the Governor may from time to time by Order
in Council, whenever in his opinion it becomes necessary
or expedient so to do, make such provision with respect
to the representation of any part of any constituent or
combined district as he thinks fit:

And whereas the Mount Peel Road District was made
a constituent district for the election by the electors
thereof of one member of the Timaru Harbour Board:

And whereas part of the Mount Peel Road District has
been constituted a new road district by the name of the
Opuha Road District:

And whereas by reason of the said division of the Mount
Peel Road District it is necessary to make provision with
respect to the representation of the newly created Mount
Peel and Opuha Road Districts on the Timaru Harbour
Board as provided in the said section twelve:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred on him by section
twelve of the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Do-
minion, doth hereby order and declare that one member
of the Timaru Harbour Board shall be elected by the
electors of the Mount Peel and Opuha Road Districts in
lieu of the former Mount Peel Road District, and that
those road districts shall be deemed to be a combined
district within the meaning of the said Act, and doth
hereby select and appoint the Mount Peel Road Board
to be the principal authority for the purposes of such
election; and doth hereby also appoint Edward Horace
Templer, of Geraldine, Clerk, to be the Returning Officer
for the purposes of the election to be held on the last
Wednesday in April, one thousand nine hundred and
eleven; and doth hereby direct that for the purposes of
that election the ratepayers roll in force for the original
Mount Peel Road District before the dissolution of the
Board of that district shall be the electors roll for the
combined district constituted by the Mount Peel and
Opuha Road Districts; and doth also further order and
direct that, subject to the express provisions of this Order
in Council, the said election shall be held in accordance
with the provisions of the said Act and the regulations
made thereunder relating to the election of members of
Harbour Boards for combined districts.
