OMOTUMOTU SCENIC RESERVE.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,200 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 992, situated in Blocks XII and XVI of Greymouth Survey District and Blocks IX and XIII of Arnold Survey District, and bounded as follows: Starting at the south-east corner of Section 1466, and bounded thence generally towards the west by Section 1466, the abutment of a road reserve and Section 1369, 13818 links; thence by the Town Belt east of the Town of Greymouth, 3950 links, to the south-western corner of Section 2828; thence towards the north by the said Section 2828 and the abutment of a road reserve, 6441·5 links, to Section 1341; thence generally towards the east by said Section 1341, 1350 links and 3020·9 links, by the northern side of a road reserve, 1044 links, and by the abutment of the said road reserve, by Sections 1428, 1430, and 1434, the abutment of a road reserve, and Sections 1432, 1469, 1467, and 1470, 11697·7 links, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence towards the south by a right line to the place of commencement, 7200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 571/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

LAKE RYAN SCENIC RESERVE.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 3 roods 7 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 1416, situated in Block IV, Cobden Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a road reserve along the sea-shore from Section No. 2952 to the road forming the south-western boundary of Section No. 2951, 2583·7 links; thence towards the north-east by the last-mentioned road, 617·49 links; thence towards the south-east by a pubic road, 2539·7 links, to Section No. 2952 aforesaid; and thence towards the south-west by the said Section No. 2952, 617·49 links, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 569/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and theron coloured red.

MOUNT TE KINGA SCENIC RESERVE.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 8,850 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 997, situated in Block XVI, Hohonu Survey District,

Blocks IX and XIII, Te Kinga Survey District, and Block I, Otira Survey District. Bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section No. 2422; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of that section 6037·6 links, the abutment of a road 101·1 links, and the southern and eastern boundaries of Scenic Reserve No. 920, 3060 and 3789·3 links respectively, to the north-eastern corner of that reserve; thence along the south-eastern side of the road running along the shore of Lake Brunner, 22500 links, to Section No. 856; thence along the southern boundary of that section, 7077·6 links; thence south-easterly along a road adjacent to the railway reserve, 6480 links, to the northernmost corner of Section No. 2561; thence along the north-western boundary of that section 3328·7 links, along the south-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 2561 and 2560, 6782 links, and the south-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section, 4688 links, and the abutment of a road, 300 links, to the Poerua River; thence along the left bank of that river, 5000 links, to Miscellaneous License No. 349; thence along the northern, western, and southern boundaries of the said License, 4200, 2000, and 4200 links respectively; thence again along the left bank of the Poerua River, 16500 links to the Poerua Lagoon; thence across the Poerua River; and thence along the south-eastern shore of the said lagoon and along the south-eastern and south-western shores of Lake Poerua, about 26000 links, to the inflow of the Poerua River; thence across that river and along the northern shore of Lake Poerua, about 1000 links, to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Reserve No. 945; thence along the abutment of a road, 250 links; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Reserve No. 945, the abutment of a road, and the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 2400 and 2399, 21053·2 links, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 572/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Subject to existing mining rights and to the right of the Warden to grant mining privileges in respect to water only over Lake Poerua.

KAKAPOTAHI SCENIC RESERVE.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 86 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, being the eastern portion of Reserve No. 1370, situated in Block XII, Waitaha Survey District. Bounded towards the east generally by the Town Belt west of the Waitaha Village, 2706·9 links, and Reserve No. 951, 763·9 links and 650 links; towards the south-west by the Main South Road, 5062·7 links; and towards the north generally by the road running along the left bank of the Kakapotahi River, 3946·5 links.

Also all that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres and 22 perches, more or less, being the western portion of Reserve No. 1370, situated in Block XII, Waitaha Survey District. Bounded towards the east generally by the Main South Road, 1447·3 links; towards the south-west by the Waitaha River, 1700 links; and towards the north-west by road reserve, 475 links.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, as the above-described areas are delineated on the plan marked L. 586/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

WAITANGI-TAONA RIVER BANK SCENIC RESERVE.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 230 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 1225, situated in Block XIII, Wataroa Survey District. Bounded towards the south-east by Section No. 2181, 4000 links; thence towards the east by a public road, 7000 links, to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 2183; thence towards the north-west by a right line, being the production of the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 2183, 3000 links, to its intersection by a right line running from the southernmost corner of Section No. 2182 to the westernmost corner of Section No. 2181; and thence towards the west by the said right line, 7000 links, to the westernmost corner of Section No. 2181 aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 585/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
