Districts constituted under the Marriage Act, 1908.
(ISLINGTON, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
vested in the Governor by the Marriage Act, 1908,
I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
abolish the existing marriage district known as the Cam-
bridge District, and do proclaim and declare that the
territory heretofore comprised within the said district is
hereby divided anew into two marriage districts, the names
and boundaries whereof shall be as follows :-
CAMBRIDGE DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded
towards the north-west generally by Te Rapa and Tama-
here Parishes from the southernmost corner of Te Rapa
Parish to Pukemoremore Trig. Station ; thence towards
the north-east by the Waikato confiscation-line to the
southernmost corner of Maunganui Block ; thence to-
wards the north generally by the northern boundary of
Hinuwera No. 2 Block ; thence towards the east generally
by the eastern boundary of the said Hinuwera No. 2 Block
to the Waikato River; thence by the right bank of the
Waikato River to the Little Waipa River ; thence towards
the south by a right line to Maungatautari Trig. Station;
thence by a right line to the southernmost corner of Puke-
kura Parish ; and thence towards the south-west generally
by Puniu and Ngaroto Parishes to the place of commence-
ment.
TIRAU DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded
towards the north-west by the north-western boundary-
lines of Waipa and Mangawhara Blocks from the Waikato
River to the Mangawhara Stream ; thence by the Manga-
whara and Mangawhero Rivers to the River Thames ;
thence by the River Thames to the Wairere Stream ; thence
by that stream to its source, and a right line thence run-
ing due east to the Tauranga confiscation-line ; thence
towards the east generally by the Tauranga confiscation-
line to Puwhenua Trig. Station ; thence by a right line to
Te Whetu Native Settlement ; thence by a right line run-
ning in the direction of Atiamuri to where it is intersected
by a right line joining Paeroa and Uraura Trig. Stations ;
thence by that right line to Uraura Trig. Station ; and
thence by a right line running in the direction of the mouth
of the Waihora Stream, at Lake Taupo, to the Waikato
River ; and thence towards the south, south-west, and west
generally by the Waikato River to the place of commence-
ment.
And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come
into operation on the first day of April, in the year of our
Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of
New Zealand and its Dependencies ; and issued
under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this six-
teenth day of March, in the year of our Lord one
thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Registration Act, 1908.
(ISLINGTON, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
vested in the Governor by the Births and Deaths
Registration Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration dis-
trict known as the Cambridge District, and do proclaim
and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within
the said district is hereby divided anew into two regis-
tration districts, the names whereof shall be the Cam-
bridge and Tirau Districts, and the boundaries whereof
shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage
districts bearing the same names, as are set forth in a
Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the pro-
visions of the Marriage Act, 1908.
