The Public Service Classification and Superannuation Act, 1908.—Period of Employment of Temporary Officers extended.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of March, 1911.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection two of section sixteen of the Public Service Classification and Superannuation Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor may by Order in Council, in any case in which he considers that the public interest so requires, authorize the temporary employment of any person or any class of persons for a longer period than is permitted by subsection one of the said section sixteen:
And whereas by Order in Council dated the twenty-third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nine, the Governor authorized the temporary employment in the Post and Telegraph Department of the classes of persons hereinafter mentioned for three years in lieu of six months:
And whereas in the opinion of the Governor it is expedient that the period of the temporary employment of those classes of persons in the Post and Telegraph Department should be further extended:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the temporary employment in the Post and Telegraph Department of the classes of persons mentioned in the Schedule hereto for a period of six years in lieu of the said period of three years.

Batterymen. Linemen.
Batterymen, assistant. Linemen labourers.
Cabinetmakers. Mail-bag makers.
Cable-steamer labourers. Mechanics.
Carpenters. Post-office messengers.
Charwomen. Storemen.
Draughtsmen. Telegraph-message boys.
Drivers. Telegraph messengers, adult.
Foremen linemen. Watchmen.

Declaring Road in Block V, Hunua Survey District, to be a Government Road.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of March, 1911.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of March, 1911.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Kaitieke County has been constituted by the Kaitieke County Act, 1910: And whereas the limits thereof extend into the Waikato and Wanganui Hospital Districts, and it is expedient to determine within which of those hospital districts the said county shall be included:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred by section three of the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby determine that the Kaitieke County shall be included within and shall form part of the Waikato Hospital District, and doth also declare that this Order in Council shall come into operation on the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
