OHURA COUNTY COUNCIL.

DECLARATION OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO ADOPT SYSTEM OF RATING ON UNIMPROVED VALUE.

Pursuant to section 39 of the Rating Act, 1908, I
hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of
the County of Ohura taken on the 25th day of February,
1911, on the proposal that the system of rating in the said
county be on the unimproved value, the number of votes
recorded for the proposal was 100, and the number of votes
recorded against the proposal was 15.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Notice is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230
of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting
of the members of the above-named company will be held
at the office of Weeks (Limited), 225 Tuam Street, Christ-
church, on Wednesday, the 29th day of March, 1911, at
2.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having
an account laid before them showing the manner in which
the winding-up has been conducted and the property of
the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation
that may be given by the Liquidator; and also of deter-
mining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which
the books, accounts, and documents of the company and
of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

Notice is hereby given that the partnership hereto-
fore subsisting between us, the undersigned, James
Wilfred Rough and John Alfred Duffill, in the pro-
fession of Architects, carried on by us at Eltham and
also at Hawera, in the Provincial District of Taranaki,
under the style of “Rough and Duffill,” has been dis-
solved as from the twenty-eighth day of February, one
thousand nine hundred and eleven; and that all debts
due and owing to and by the said late firm will be
received and paid respectively by the said John Alfred
Duffill, who will continue to carry on the business alone
and in his own name only.

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.

A SPECIAL Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette
is now published fortnightly, containing all notices
concerning patents and trade-marks required by law to
be gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for
patents, expired letters patent, and other information use-
ful to inventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supple-
ment will be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and
to others on payment of a subscription of eleven shillings
per annum, including postage, payable in advance to the
Government Printer.
