AGREEMENT FOR WEEKLY [or MONTHLY] TENANCY OF WORKER’S DWELLING.

(Under Section 9 of the Workers’ Dwellings Act, 1910.)
MEMORANDUM of agreement made this day of , 19 , between the Superintendent of Workers’ Dwellings, on behalf of His Majesty the King, of the one part, and [Name in full, address, and occupation], a worker within the meaning of the Workers’ Dwellings Act, 1910, of the other part.

Subject to the provisions of the said Act, and of the regulations thereunder, the Superintendent agrees to let, and the said agrees to take, on a weekly [or monthly] tenancy, at a weekly [or monthly] rent of , payable at such place as the Superintendent from time to time directs, (a) [in the case of a building already erected] the worker’s dwelling, being [Specify number, street, and other particulars sufficient to identify the dwelling], as from the day of , 19 ; or (b) a worker’s dwelling to be erected on the land described in the Schedule hereto in accordance with the particulars set out therein, as from a date to be hereafter fixed by the Superintendent (being not later than fourteen days after notice of the completion of the building has been given to the said ).

And it is hereby further expressly stipulated and agreed that this agreement is entered into subject to the provisions and conditions relating thereto contained in the Workers’ Dwellings Act, 1910, and the regulations for the time being in force thereunder, which said provisions and conditions shall be deemed to be contained herein.

CERTIFICATE OF BOARD ENTITLING PURCHASER TO CERTIFICATE OF TITLE FOR WORKER’S DWELLING.

(Under Section 14 of the Workers’ Dwellings Act, 1910.)
THIS is to certify that [Name in full], of [Address], [Occupation], being a party to an agreement to purchase a worker’s dwelling, dated the day of , 19 , has paid the full amount payable under that agreement, and that the Board of the District of is satisfied that the terms and conditions contained in the said agreement have been duly complied with.

Regulations as to the Registration of Barmaids.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of March, 1911.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section thirty-six of the Licensing Amendment Act, 1910, the Governor is empowered to make regulations as to the mode of registration of barmaids, and generally for carrying into effect the provisions of that section :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by that section, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations.

REGULATIONS.

  1. Every person desiring to be registered as a barmaid in accordance with the provisions of section 36 of the Licensing Amendment Act, 1910, shall, on or before the 1st day of June, 1911, forward to the Secretary of Labour, at Wellington, an application in duplicate in the Form L. 1 in the Schedule hereto.

  2. Every such application shall be accompanied by a statutory declaration made by the applicant in the Form L. 2 in the Schedule hereto.

  3. On the receipt of any such application the Secretary of Labour shall, if satisfied that the applicant is entitled to be registered in accordance with the said section 36, cause the name of the applicant and the other prescribed particulars in respect thereof to be entered in the Register of Barmaids hereinafter referred to.

  4. The Secretary of Labour shall cause to be kept a Register of Barmaids in the Form L. 3 in the Schedule hereto.

  5. On the entry of the name of any person in the Register of Barmaids the Secretary of Labour shall issue and cause to be forwarded to that person a certificate of registration in the Form L. 4 in the Schedule hereto.
