ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

THE FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL

to be the Feilding Domain Board, having the control of
the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the
purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act;
and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the thirteenth day of
April, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at eight
o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Municipal Council
Chamber, Kimbolton Road, Feilding, as the place where,
the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

FEILDING DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods, more or less, being
Lot 7 and part of Lot 8 of part of Section 149 (deposited
plan No. 912), Township of Sandon, and being the whole
of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 183,
flio 90, Wellington.

Orangai Cemetery, Te Araroa Native Township, closed,
and vested in Trustees.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day
of March, 1911.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it appears to the Governor that burials
in the Orangai Cemetery, in the Te Araroa Native
Township, which said cemetery is described in the Sche-
dule hereto, should be wholly discontinued: And whereas
a sufficient cemetery not within the limits of any borough
or town district has been provided, and has been prepared
for the interment of the dead, as required by the Ceme-
teries Act, 1908:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Do-
minion, and in pursuance of the authorities vested in him
by the said Cemeteries Act, 1908, doth hereby order and
direct that, from and after the first day of November,
one thousand nine hundred and eleven, burials within
the Orangai Cemetery, in the Te Araroa Native Township,
described in the aforesaid Schedule, shall be wholly dis-
continued; and, further, that the said cemetery shall,
from and after the said first day of November, one thou-
said nine hundred and eleven, be vested in the Tairawhiti
District Maori Land Board, under the provisions and for
the purposes of the seventy-eighth section of the said
Cemeteries Act, 1908.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area known as the Orangai Cemetery Reserve,
being a portion of the Tapuaeoteao Block, situated in Pai-
koa Street, in Te Araroa Native Township, County of
Waiapu, containing 1 rood 11 perches, and also known as
the old church-yard of St. Stephen’s Church.

Order in Council guaranteeing Loan by the Oamaru
Harbour Board


ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day
of March, 1911.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS under and by virtue of the Oamaru Har-
bour Board Enabling Act, 1910, the Oamaru
Harbour Board is authorized and empowered to raise a
loan not exceeding two hundred and twenty-five thousand
pounds (£225,000) at a rate of interest not exceeding five
pounds per centum per annum, to be applied exclusively
for the purposes mentioned in the said Act: And whereas
by the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public
Bodies Empowering Act, 1910, after reciting the said

power of the said Harbour Board to raise the said sum
of two hundred and twenty-five thousand pounds as afore-
said, it is enacted that all sums of money so raised, with
interest thereon not exceeding four pounds ten shillings
per centum per annum, may be guaranteed by the Govern-
ment of New Zealand, and that in order to give full effect
to such guarantee all principal and interest becoming pay-
able in respect of the sums so raised shall, if and as often
as any default is made by the said Board in payment
thereof, be payable by the Minister of Finance out of
the Consolidated Fund without further appropriation than
the said Act, and that such guarantee when given shall
be enforceable against the Government of New Zealand by
the holder of any debenture or other security in respect
of such loan in the same manner and as fully and effec-
tually as if the guarantee were constituted by contract
between such holder and the Government of New Zealand,
and that in the event of such guarantee being given all
debentures issued in respect of such loan shall have
printed thereon a certificate in the following form,
namely: “Payment of the principal and interest secured
by this debenture is guaranteed by the Government of
New Zealand,” and that every such certificate shall be
signed by the Minister of Finance, or some officer of the
Treasury on his behalf: And whereas the said Harbour
Board has, pursuant to the terms of the Oamaru Harbour
Board Empowering Act, 1910, taken all necessary pro-
ceedings for the raising of a loan of two hundred and
fifteen thousand pounds upon debentures of the said
Board, bearing interest at the rate of four pounds per
centum per annum, and has applied to the Government to
guarantee the said loan as provided by the said Reserves
and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering
Act, 1910:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by sec-
tion ninety-six of the said Reserves and other Lands Dis-
posal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1910, doth
hereby declare that all debentures which may be issued
by the Oamaru Harbour Board in pursuance of the powers
conferred upon that Board by the Oamaru Harbour Board
Enabling Act, 1910, in respect of any loan or loans not
exceeding in the aggregate the sum of two hundred and
fifteen thousand pounds, at a rate of interest not exceed-
ing four pounds per centum per annum, and which may be
duly certified under the hand of the Minister of Finance,
or an officer of the Treasury on his behalf, as guaranteed
by the Government of New Zealand in accordance with the
provisions of section ninety-six of the Reserves and other
Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1910,
shall be and are hereby guaranteed by the said Government
under the provisions of the said section ninety-six of the
last-mentioned Act accordingly: And doth hereby further
declare that all principal and interest moneys becoming
payable in respect of any such debenture so certified as
aforesaid shall, if and as often as any default is made by
the Oamaru Harbour Board in payment thereof, be pay-
able by the Minister of Finance out of the Consolidated
Fund: And doth hereby authorize and empower the
Minister of Finance under his hand, or under the hand
of any officer of the Treasury appointed by him in that
behalf, to certify any such debentures as aforesaid in pur-
suance of section ninety-six of the last-mentioned Act, at
such times and on such terms and conditions as the said
Minister of Finance in his discretion thinks fit: And
doth hereby further declare that, save and except in re-
spect of such debentures as may be so certified by or on
behalf of the Minister of Finance in his discretion as
aforesaid, the guarantee given and constituted hereby shall
have no force or effect.
