Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), a Scenery Preservation Board is constituted, and it is enacted that such Board shall, when so directed by the Minister charged for the time being with the administration of the said Act, inspect any lands possessing scenic or historic interest, or on which there are thermal springs, and make inquiries respecting the same, and report to the Governor; and shall from time to time recommend what lands, whether Crown or private, shall be permanently reserved as scenic, thermal, or historic reserves : And whereas the said Board was duly directed to inspect and report on the land described in the Schedule hereunder, and has recommended that the said land should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers contained in the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereunder shall be a scenic reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
TAIERI RIVER (WEST BANK).
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 56 acres 2 roods 12 perches, more or less, being Section 27, Block I, Clarendon Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by part of Section 26 of said block, 2870 links; towards the east by a road-line fronting the Taieri River, 4500 links; and towards the south-west by Sections 28 and 66 of said block, and the abutment of a road-line, 2290 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less : as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 315/31, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

SCHEDULE.
MARSDEN ROAD SCENIC RESERVE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, being the water-race reservoir known as Millikin's Dam, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods 28 perches, more or less, and being Reserve No. 1423, situated in Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by Reserve No. 273 and by Section 1544, towards the east generally by that portion of Nelson Creek which intersects Section 1546, and by Section 1544 aforesaid, and towards the south by the Marsden Road ; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 514/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Amending General Regulations under Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of March, 1911.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 76, of the twenty-ninth day of the same month, regulations were made for the general control of the freshwater fisheries of the Dominion :
And whereas it is desirable to make an additional regulation providing for the sale throughout the Dominion of trout taken and smoked in the Rotorua Acclimatization District:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power conferred upon him by the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulation, and doth hereby declare that the same shall have force and effect throughout the Dominion.
REGULATION.
NOTWITHSTANDING anything contained in the hereinbefore-recited regulations, or in any of the regulations for the respective acclimatization districts throughout the Dominion, it shall be lawful to sell trout taken, smoked, and branded by or under the direction of the Tourist Division of the Department of Agriculture, Commerce, and Tourists.
