PUKEATUA ROAD DISTRICT.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD THROUGH PART OF SECTION 16, PARISH OF OKURA, BLOCK XI, WAIWERA SURVEY DISTRICT.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and amendments, by the Pukeatua Road Board to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road through Section 16, Parish of Okura, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is further given that the plan of the said road, and of the land so required to be taken, is deposited for public inspection at the residence of G. H. Carter, Esq., Oak Farm, Wade.

And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of such public work or the taking of such land shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Chairman of the Pukeatua Road Board, Dairy Flat.

NOTICE is hereby given that the JOHN STRANGE WINTER COMPANY (LIMITED), on the 28th day of February, 1911, duly passed an extraordinary resolution, as follows:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same; and the said John Strange Winter Company (Limited) be and is hereby wound up voluntarily.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned, WILLIAM HUBERT NAYLOR and ALFRED HERBERT ABBOTT, carrying on business as Carpenters and Builders, at Portobello, near Dunedin, under the style or firm of “Naylor and Abbott,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 24th day of February, 1911. The said WILLIAM HUBERT NAYLOR will pay and discharge the debts and liabilities of the said late firm, and receive all moneys due thereto.
