Special Order made by the Green Island Borough Council, abolishing Wards.

THE following special order, made by the Green Island Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908.

BOROUGH COUNCIL OF GREEN ISLAND.

Special Order abolishing the Ward System.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, the Green Island Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: (1.) That the ward system and the wards or subdivisions of the Borough of Green Island be abolished, and that the said borough be an undivided borough within the meaning of the said Act; and that the number of Councillors for such undivided borough be 12. (2.) That this resolution shall take effect on and after Wednesday, the 26th day of April, 1911.

Passed at a special meeting of the Council held on the 10th day of January, 1911. Confirmed at a special meet-

ing of the Council held on the 13th day of February, 1911.

POINT CHEVALIER ROAD BOARD.

Special Order.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred under section 18 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Point Chevalier Road Board hereby resolves by way of special order as follows: That the interest on the loan of £799 3s. 11d. raised under section 56 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, for improvement to the Great North Road, be paid out of the Board’s general fund account at the Bank of New Zealand at Auckland.

The above resolution as a special order was passed at a special meeting of the Point Chevalier Road Board held
