L. 1003A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Halswell Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-
seventh day of February, 1911.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency
the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke a certain Order
in Council, dated the twentieth day of June, one thousand
nine hundred and ten, appointing a Domain Board to have
control of the Spreydon and Halswell Domain, and doth
hereby appoint

JOHN ECCLES FERGUSON,
EDWARD PATERSON,
OWEN MCGOUGH,
HARRY COX,
WILLIAM MOORHEED THOMPSON,
THOMAS REGINALD AMYES,
JOHN MCDRURY,
ALBERT HUMM, and
AMOS BIRD

to be the Halswell Domain Board, having, subject to the
said Act, control of the land described in the Schedule
hereto, which land is a public domain, and shall be called
the Halswell Domain; and also doth hereby appoint Tues-
day, the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine
hundred and eleven, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time
when, and the school, Halswell, as the place where, the
first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

HALSWELL DOMAIN.

(Formerly known as Spreydon and Halswell Domain.)

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 20 acres, more or less, being Reserve
No. 110 (in red), situate in Block XIV, Christchurch Sur-
vey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the
Lower Lincoln Road; towards the north-east by Rural
Section No. 379; and towards the south by Rural Section
No. 1072 and Reserve No. 128: as the same is delineated
on the plan marked L. 1367, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red.

Exempting Portions of Hendrie, Wakefield, Bell, and Shortland Streets, in the Borough of New Plymouth, from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.


ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-
seventh day of February, 1911.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is,
inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in
any case where the local authority having control of a road
or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof
shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any speci-
fied part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the
Governor in Council:

And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided
that such approval may be either absolute or subject to
such conditions as the Governor, by Order in Council,
thinks fit to impose:

And whereas on the twelfth day of December, one thou-
sand nine hundred and ten, the New Plymouth Borough
Council, the local authority having control of the portions
of the streets described in the Schedule hereto, did by
resolution declare that the provisions of the said section
one hundred and seventeen should not apply to the said
portions of streets:

And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution
should be approved:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of
the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby ap-
prove of the said resolution.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Hendrie Street, in the Borough of New
Plymouth, to which Sections 1784 to 1791 (both inclusive)
have frontages.

Also all that portion of Wakefield Street, in the said
borough, east of Eliot Street.

Also all that portion of Bell Street, in the said borough,
east of Eliot Street.

Also all that portion of Shortland Street, in the said
borough, east of Eliot Street.

As the said portions of streets are more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 28130, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington,
in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured
blue.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise
of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby ap-
prove of the said resolution in so far as it affects the said
portion of street described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of street in the City of Auckland, known
as Liverpool Street, situated between Turner Street and
Laurie Street, and fronting the eastern frontages of Lots 6,
7, and 8 of Section 37 of the said city; as the said portion
of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 27526, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial
District, and thereon coloured red and marked A B.
