Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners of the land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Riwaka Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Kaiteriteri and Motueka Survey Districts described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

Defining the Middle-line of a Portion of the Huntly-Awaroa Branch of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Huntly-Awaroa Branch of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway (hereinafter termed “the said railway”) is a railway the construction of which is authorized by the Railways Authorization Act, 1910: And whereas it has been determined to construct and maintain a portion of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section 188 of the Public Works Act, 1908, and in exercise of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said portion of railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point marked 0 miles in Huntly Station Sidings Reserve, Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District, which point is about 27¾ chains due south of the northern boundary and about 14 chains due west of the eastern boundary of said Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District, and is also a point on the Kaipara-Waikato Railway line, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction for a distance of one mile, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Huntly Station yard, Subdivisions 15 and 14 of part of Lot 52, Waikato River and banks, Sections 38, 38A, 39, 40, and 47, Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District—and terminating at a point marked one mile, which is about 37 chains due south of the northern boundary and about 84 chains due west of the eastern boundary of Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Land District of Auckland: as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 28328, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
