The nature of the proposed amendment is as follows:

To insert in full the name of the inventor—i.e., “Baldus Boulogne.”

The applicant states: “My reason for making this amendment is as follows: To complete the document in accordance with the requirements.”

No. 28888.—D. Elder. Wire-wrapping machine. (Advertised in Supplement to New Zealand Gazette, No. 2, of the 12th January, 1911.)

The nature of the proposed amendment is as follows:

(1.) To insert, after the word “fence,” line 29, page 2, of specification, the following: “Fig. 12 is a plan and Fig. 13 a side elevation of the gap-wheel.”

(2.) To insert the word “having” before “corresponding,” line 1, page 3.

(3.) To insert, after the word “gap,” line 17, page 4, the words “a small flat spring 47 projects from the pin 33, and is adapted to press against the binding-wire at the end of the coiling and to close the coils together.”

(4.) To omit the words “has been effected,” line 2, page 5, and to insert instead the words “wire has been coiled twice around wires 26 and 27.”

(5.) To make alterations in Figs. 7, 8, and 10 of the drawings, and to add two additional figures, marked “12” and “13.”

The applicant states: “My reason for making this amendment is to restrict the scope of the claims.”
