GISBORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON ADOPTING THE SYSTEM OF RATING ON THE UNIMPROVED VALUE IN THE BOROUGH OF GISBORNE.
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908; and of the Rating Act, 1908; and the Acts amending the same respectively.
I HEREBY give notice that on the 2nd day of February, 1911, a proposal was submitted by the Gisborne Borough Council to the ratepayers of the Borough of Gisborne—“That henceforth the system of rating property on the basis of the unimproved value thereof be adopted in the Borough of Gisborne”—and that the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows: For, 474; against, 279.
And I therefore declare the said proposal to be carried.

In the matter of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908, and of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the Kelburne Bowling Club (Registered).
A T an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named club duly convened and held at the Club’s Pavilion, Kelburne, Wellington, on the 10th day of December, 1910, the following resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said club also duly convened and held at the same place on the 1st day of February, 1911, the same resolution was duly confirmed as a special resolution:—
“ That the Kelburne Bowling Club (Registered) be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908, and under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908; that Messrs. J. S. Macarthur and F. Widdop be and they are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such winding-up and distributing the assets; that the Liquidators be authorized to transfer to, or authorize the transfer by, the Kelburne Bowling Club (Limited), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1908, of all that the whole undertaking of the Kelburne Bowling Club (Registered), in consideration of the Kelburne Bowling Club (Limited) taking over from the said Kelburne Bowling Club (Registered) all the liabilities of the Kelburne Bowling Club (Registered); and that the Liquidators are hereby authorized to affix and shall affix the seal of the Kelburne Bowling Club (Registered) to a memorandum of transfer of part Section 28, Karori District, containing 2 roods 20 perches, and the buildings thereon, from the Kelburne Bowling Club (Registered) to the Kelburne Bowling Club (Limited), its successors and assigns.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME.
I, CHARLES ERNEST MARRIS, of Whitehall, near Karapiro, in the Provincial District of Auckland, and Dominion of New Zealand, Farmer, do hereby give notice that I have assumed and intend henceforth upon all occasions and at all times to sign and use and be called and known by the Christian names of Charles Ernest and the surname of Jeans, in lieu of and in substitution for my said Christian names of Charles Ernest and my present surname of Marris; and that such intended change or assumption of name is formally declared and evidenced by deed-poll under my hand and seal dated this day, and intended to be forthwith enrolled in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland, in testimony whereof I do hereby sign and subscribe myself by such my intended future name.
