HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Resolution making Special Rate.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves as follows : That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,800, authorized to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council for the purpose of forming and metalling roads and constructing water-races in the Gear Estate Special District, the Horowhenua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 31/41 of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Gear Estate Special-rating District, comprised in Sections 5, 17/32, 43/45, parts 1/4, 6, 15, 16, parts 33, 42, 46/51, and 66 of Ngakaroro 2F, part Ngakaroro 2F Railway Reserve, and part 3A No. 2 and 1A No. 6, Block XI, Kaitawa Survey District; and Sections 10/14, 34/41, 54/8, 75/8, parts 6, 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 33, 42, 51/3, 59, 74, 79 of Ngakaroro 2F, and part Ngakaroro 5B, Block II, Kaitawa Survey District; as the same is shown on the plan and coloured yellow: such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Horowhenua County Council held on the 9th day of December, 1911.

THE following resolutions, made by the Dargaville Borough Council, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Resolutions making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies' Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Dargaville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :-
(1.) That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £8,500, authorized to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for establishing municipal gasworks within the Borough of Dargaville, the said Dargaville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the said borough; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Dargaville Borough Council at a meeting held on Tuesday, 5th December, 1911.

(2.) That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £900, authorized to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of forming, extra metalling, and completion to permanent level of the Mangawhare Road from the borough boundary to the Kaihu Bridge (including the necessary footpath kerbing), the said Dargaville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3/32 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the said borough; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

(3.) That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £600, authorized to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for establishing a municipal sanitary service in the borough, the said Dargaville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the said borough; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE following resolution, made by the Helensville Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

HELENSVILLE TOWN BOARD.
Resolution.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies' Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Helensville Town Board hereby resolves as follows : That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Helensville Town Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the following purposes-(a) for water-supply, £5,000; (b) for drainage, £5,000-the said Helensville Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 15d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Helensville Town District, comprising the whole of such district; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and the 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 15 of the Land Act, 1908, I hereby authorize the laying-off of Kitchener Street, in the Town of Waipukurau Extension No. 17, Hawke's Bay Land District, of a width of not less than 66 ft. instead of 99 ft.
