THE following special orders, made by the Pukekura Road Board, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

PUKEKURA ROAD BOARD.
Special Orders passed at a Special Meeting of the Pukekura Road Board at a Meeting held in February, 1911, and confirmed at a Meeting of the Board held for that Purpose on 24th March, 1911.
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, the Pukekura Road Board hereby resolves that a special loan of £2,700 be raised in and for the purpose of paying the contribution towards the cost of construction of the high-level bridge over the Waikato River at Cambridge, ordered to be paid by the Pukekura Road Board by a Warrant of His Excellency the Governor dated 7th May, 1906; such loan to be for a period of thirty-six years and a half, under the provisions of the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and to be secured by a special rate of ½d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Pukekura Road Board District. Neither the cost of raising the loan nor the interest for the first year to be paid out of the loan.
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Pukekura Road Board hereby resolves: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,700, authorized to be raised by the Pukekura Road Board, for the payment of the contribution towards the cost of construction of the high-level bridge over the Waikato River at Cambridge, ordered to be paid by a Warrant of His Excellency the Governor dated the 7th day of May, 1906, the said Pukekura Road Board makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Pukekura Road Board District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above special orders were duly passed in accordance with the Road Boards Act, 1908.
