NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN.
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.
I HEREBY give notice that on the 21st day of December, 1910, a proposal was submitted by the City Council of Dunedin to the ratepayers of the said city for the raising of a special loan of £17,000 for the purpose of extending the existing water-supply to Valley Ward, and providing and laying all necessary mains, pipes, and fittings for the reticulating of the said ward for water-supply purposes; and that the numbers of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal were as follows: For the proposal, 650 votes; against the proposal, 227 votes; informal, 16 votes.
And I declare the said proposal to be carried.

Notice of Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Kawhia taken on the 10th day of December, 1910, on the proposal of the Kawhia County Council to borrow the sum of £1,000 for harbour improvements, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 42, the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 7, and the number of informal votes was 1.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Marton Extension Special Rating District was taken on the 20th day of December, 1910, on the proposal of the Rangitikei County Council to borrow the sum of £330 for the purpose of metalling the several streets in the Marton Extension lying between Main Street and the Tutaenui Stream.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 7. The number of votes recorded against the proposal was nil.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

RAUPO DRAINAGE BOARD.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of ratepayers of the Raupo Drainage Board was taken on Wednesday, the 5th day of October, 1910, on the proposal of the Raupo Drainage Board to borrow the sum of £3,000. The purpose for which the loan is required is to form the nucleus of a sum of £14,000 to be expended in cutting off the hill lands water from the Raupo Swamps; widening and deepening outlets; repairing, replacing, and putting in new flood-gates (in accordance with plans deposited for inspection with the Chairman of the Raupo Drainage Board). The £14,000 to be made up as follows: £3,000 to be raised by the Raupo Drainage Board, £3,000 Government subsidy on amount intended to be raised, £8,000 loading of £2 per acre on 4,000 acres of Government bush land.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 5. The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 73.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
