WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Taranaki Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 25 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section 3, Block XVI, Pouatu Survey District. Bounded towards the west and north generally by the Kohuratahi Road ; towards the south-east by the Kohuratahi Road and Section 5, Block XVI, Pouatu Survey District ; and towards the south by Section 4, Block XVI aforesaid : as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5467/1A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For papa-burning purposes.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 41 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section 7, Block XVI, Pouatu Survey District. Bounded towards the east generally by Section 6, Block XVI, Pouatu Survey District ; towards the south by the Waipapa Stream ; and towards the north-west by Section 6, Block XVI aforesaid : as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5467/1B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
